DFW, Texas is home to some of the best restaurants in the state! With such a rich restaurant culture, there are always good eats for a family dinner, date night or for just trying something new.
We’ve put together a list of some of the best restaurants that have opened in 2016 and those that are still to come.
Top Knot is one of Dallas’ most anticipated restaurants and exciting new concepts. Chef Tyson Cole, of Uchi Dallas, decided to mix it up by opening Top Knot on the second floor of Uchi Uptown. This upscale restaurant is a modern American restaurant with Asian roots that features flavors from Southeast Asia, Latin America and Japan. Top Knot is open now with Happy Hour 5 pm – 6:30 pm daily and Brunch Sunday from 11 am – 3 pm.
Heim Barbeque has already made a name for itself before opening its first location in Ft. Worth, Texas. What started out as a food truck by husband and wife Travis and Emma Heim has evolved into a beloved BBQ brand. From prime cuts of beef to sides that are made from scratch, you’ll definitely be coming back for more. The grand opening is set for August 6th at 11 am so don’t miss out!
Shelby Hall is named after Shelby County in the Mississippi Delta, birthplace of owner Lisa Garza-Selcer. Shelby Hall will feature cuisine of the deep south such as fried chicken, but will also include dishes of Chef Patton Robertson of Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck, like seafood dishes, rotisserie game and an oyster bar.
