It’s finally fall, y’all! Now that we’re leaving the scorching summer temperatures behind, there are so many opportunities to get out and enjoy autumn in North Texas, including several fun festivals and Halloween events. Check out our list of fall fun near ArrowBrooke this month!  

Fall Fun in ArrowBrooke

We’d be remised to not first mention the Halloween events planned in ArrowBrooke this year! ArrowBrooke homeowners are invited to join us for our Trunk or Treat Spooktacular on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 3-6 p.m. Join us at the soccer fields parking lot in your Halloween costumes for a scary good time!

Our HOA will also be hosting a Halloween Movie Night showing of Hocus Pocus at The Gathering Place I on Friday, Oct. 28, beginning at 7 p.m.

Team Family Farms Pumpkin Patch Festival

Situated 20 minutes from ArrowBrooke, Team Family Farms’ annual Pumpkin Patch Festival in Aubrey is taking place daily through Nov. 6. Pick your pumpkin and enjoy barrel train rides, a hay maze, games, petting zoo, pose for pics in rustic photo spots, let the kids loose at the play area and playground or just relax and enjoy the outdoors.

State Fair of Texas

It isn’t fall without the State Fair of Texas! Celebrate all things Texas by sampling an array of mouth-watering foods and drinks, checking out the rodeo, riding the Ferris wheel and snapping a photo with Big Tex.

Little Elm Pumpkin Hollow
701 W. Eldorado Parkway, Little Elm, TX 75068

This multi-day event has a little bit of everything Halloween, including a carnival, haunted trail and a lighted pumpkin trail featuring hundreds of pumpkins! New in 2022, the event will add a carnival with bounce houses, games, face painting and other fun activities. Wristbands will be available for purchase for kids all-you-can-play access to the Carnival Area.

Tickets for Pumpkin Hollow’s scary Haunted Trail are $10 (ages 4 and up). The family-friendly Jack o’Lantern Trail is free to peruse.

Autumn at the Arboretum

The 17th annual Autumn at the Arboretum features 100,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash, hailing from THE pumpkin capital of Texas, Floydada, throughout the garden. This year’s theme ‘A Fall Fairy Tale’ features the return of Cinderella’s Carriage, along with themed pumpkin houses that make up the acclaimed Pumpkin Village, sponsored by Oncor, and of course, a maze for younger visitors. Other gourd-eous displays reimagine classic tales of Jack & The Beanstalk, The Three Little Pigs, The Sword in the Stone and One Thousand and One Nights.

Scare on the Square

Bring your ghouls, goblins, princesses and superheroes to the Pilot Point Square! Downtown merchants will be handing out candy and there will be fun for all. A family-friendly film will be shown, along with costume contests.

Trunk or Treat at The Star

Come celebrate Halloween weekend at The Star in Frisco! The event will feature Halloween fun for the whole family, including: 40+ Shelby Mustangs on display on Tostitos Championship Plaza, trick or treating for the kiddos, a live DJ providing the monster mash-ups, Halloween-themed arts and crafts, and a costume contest.
